∗ Autor para correspondência. Correio eletrónico: [email protected] (A.R. Araújo). Na radiografia de tórax observou-se cardiomegalia, com índice cardiotorácico de 60%. O eletrocardiograma mostrou ondas Q > 3 mm em DI, aVL e V7 e inversão da onda T de V5-V7, padrão sugestivo de enfarte do miocárdio. O ecocardiograma transtorácico revelou dilatação e disfunção global do ventrículo esquerdo (VE), com diâmetro diastólico (VEdd) 46 mm (Z-Score + 12,44), fração de encurtamento (FEnc) 16% e fração de ejeção (FEj) biplano 25,4%, com regurgitação mitral grave por má coaptação dos folhetos.
